Where do you put your milk?

This morning, my husband greeted me in the kitchen with a question.

"What's this?" he asks, holding up a carton of milk.

"It's milk (on the inside: you big dummy)," I say.

"Where does milk go?" he asks.

"In the fridge (on the inside: you big dummy)," I say.

"Then why was it in the pantry?" he asks.

Oh. I'm the big pregnant dummy who can't even remember putting the milk in the pantry. I remember this. It's called pregnancy brain.
